Errands
• The aide may use their own car to run short errands,

prescriptions at the drug store. You will be
charged $.38 cents per mile for
mileage to and from the place
of business. The aide will
complete a mileage slip documenting the number of miles
driven and the places/
businesses where they have visited.
Check the mileage slip for accuracy and
then sign the slip
confirming total amount of miles driven.
You want to set up an account with
the grocery or drug store
and have the store
bill you for the items the aide purchases
for you or you may give the aide enough
cash to cover the
expense of the items. Always check the purchases with the
receipt and if
you give
cash count your change.
Do not give the aide a check. Aides are not permitted to
cash checks or
do your banking.

time for which the aide will be
paid.
Both you and the aide must then sign this slip. If
the client is unable
to sign, the responsible party must
sign the check. If
the responsible party is not available,
the aide will contact the Registered Nurse.
•
Phone our agency
for any change in your schedule. If you are not home and
you failed to cancel
your
visit time and the aide comes to your home, you will be
billed for one hour
of service.
• The Registered Nurse will visit the client's home
to assess the client/family relationship with
the aide and
assess the care given by the aide. There is
no charge for this visit.
Visits may be made more frequently
because of changes
in the client's condition, changes in the support /caregiver,
changes in the
environment and/or client concerns. A client
wanting weekly Registered Nurse visits
to set up medications
will be charged a skilled nurse fee.
• If there are other services you are wanting, notify

may be
worked out.
