In this new millennium, homebound elders and their families are seeking reliable, proven local providers to deliver in-home assistance for themselves and family members who are not fully recovered when leaving the hospital or nursing home after a shorter stay. More and more health insurance plans are seeking to bring medical costs under control through using home healthcare for acute, short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitative therapy care.

Mercer Health Home Care is owned and operated by the Mercer County Townships which are founded on the principles of continuous quality improvement and exceptional customer service. Since 1966, Mercer Health Home Care has provided needed assistance to patients, caregivers and our many referral sources by listening to and responding to their different and individual home healthcare needs.

Mercer Health provides a comprehensive array of in-home services. We recognize that achieving a successful outcome for each individual in its diverse patient population requires us to employ the best nurses, rehabilitation therapists, home care aides, medical social workers, and nutritionists who are supported with the latest medical and information technology. To meet the challenge of an ever-changing body of medical and nursing knowledge, Mercer Health maintains a unique Continuing Education Program which keeps our healthcare professionals current on the latest proven care methods.
